Summer is the time for festivals throughout Japan, and major events in almost every major city and enjoyed the city, with parades of dancing, fireworks and large. These events are fun and exciting, but I have more holidays smaller communities, which tend to enjoy organized by almost all the small towns and villages. festivals are usually small because of the local Shinto (native religion of Japan) shrine instead, find a wooden platform built for use byTaiko Drummers and dancers. In our community, Yada, almost all reports to prepare the shrine the day before the festival, with the reasons for the big event. Loud fireworks are awake and no one will call them begin to work at the sanctuary. Women and children involved in raking leaves and clearing work of the sanctuary grounds while men tend to assemble together and dance the wooden platform. When this work is done everyone can enjoy a short party with foodand drinks that will help the community in the right mood for the upcoming festival. On the day of the festival to perform adult and children, in turn, for the community, after dancing around the deck and enjoy festival foods like yakisoba, roasted corn, shaved ice and drinks like Ramune soda. Axis & Allies, College for Kids summer enrichment
From June 30 to July 11, 2008, Kyle attended College for Kids Summer Enrichment at Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, Iowa. These classes are children Challenge (gifted and talented) program, children served in the top percentile ITB and teachers recommend children. He enrolled in Japanese language and culture, Axis & Allies: The World at War, I-Movie, and LL chess. Axis & Allies is a board game based on WW11. In The Movie-of course the boys were using a filmCamera to capture footage and then use Macintosh I-movie program to edit the clips in their film production. During Japanese children learn about food, clothes and Origami of Japanese culture. In chess, improve children's abilities and playing chess challenge other students to find out who is the champion of the class. They also learn the history of curiosity and play. This is the second year to visit Kyle.
